About Emily

Emily was born and raised in the small Northern Ohio town on the shores of Lake Erie known as Port Clinton. She began working in the hospitality industry as a teenager, and quickly grew to love working with people as well as having the opportunity to travel often. Her move to Maine is a bit of a love story, as she followed her now fiancé from Key West to Bar Harbor. As a native of Blue Hill, he introduced Emily to the beauty and laid-back lifestyle of Maine and together they decided to make Portland their permanent home. Once they were settled, she decided it was time to make her longtime dream of working in real estate a reality. Emily received her Maine Real Estate license in January of 2016 and joined The Swan Agency Sotheby’s International Realty.

Emily works in Greater Portland and the surrounding areas as a part of The Alyssa Bouthot Team with Alyssa Bouthot and Jasmin White. Together they work with both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions. They particularly enjoy working with first time homebuyers, historic homes and Inn/B&B clients.

Emily has called Maine home for several years, finding the mix of ocean and mountains to be among her favorite things about living here. She loves Maine’s picturesque beauty, it’s rich history that shows through its many historic buildings and the quaint coastal towns. Living in Portland allows easy access to Boston and many other destinations throughout New England, making it easy to take spontaneous weekend trips with her fiancé, Troy. In addition to traveling, in her free time she enjoys supporting her community through volunteer work, spending time with family, hiking, boating, antiquing and explores her artistic side through photography.
