Tammy Thurlow changed careers coming from the medical field to join the real estate business. Tammy has partnered with veteran broker, Nancy McKechnie to work with both buyers and sellers on and off Mount Desert Island.  Tammy has a strong connection to MDI and the surrounding areas, growing up in Trenton and raising her two daughters here. She is a 1994 MDIHS graduate and spent many years in management and patient advocacy at the local hospitals. With a love for the area and all things real estate, she was eager to jump into the business and make real estate her full-time career. Having been through the sales process herself, Tammy recognizes the importance of having a dedicated broker to help ensure a smooth buying and selling experience. 

In addition to her time spent on MDI and Downeast Maine, Tammy also enjoys summers at their camp on Toddy Pond in Orland and looks forward to working with both locals and seasonal folks who love “Lake Life” in Maine.  When she’s not showing homes, you’ll find Tammy fishing and boating on Toddy Pond, on the scenic Downeast ATV trails, out and about at local restaurants, and spending time with her family and their dogs.
