Diane Pace has an extensive corporate marketing and branding background working in Massachusetts, but has owned property in Maine for over 20 years, and always wanted to buy into the Maine hospitality lifestyle, like many inn buyers! In 2013 Diane made the leap, purchasing The Lighthouse Inn & Carriage House in York Beach, a 31 room boutique inn and motel. After 5 years she listed the inn for sale in 2018. After closing on the sale in March of 2019, Diane then decided to take advantage of the strong Portland market and purchased the West End Inn, which Diane sold in December of 2021. But it was through these real estate transactions that she was introduced to the Swan Agency and Dana Moos, who brokered each of those deals.

In 2021, as the hospitality market continued to boom in Maine, Diane decided to join forces with Dana and the Swan agency, to bring her first hand hospitality experience to the sellers looking for brokers who truly understand the nuances of their business, and the buyers...investors, young entrepreneurs, and seasoned hospitality professionals who understand the value of the Maine tourism market and its continued potential. Since Swan Agency has long been involved in hospitality brokerage, they’ve always put emphasis on the lodging and hospitality ‘specialist’, as one who has owned and operated their own inn, that allow them to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.

Diane continues to invest in hospitality ventures, and when not assisting Dana and their buyers and sellers, she enjoys time with family and friends in Concord MA and Ogunquit ME.
