Hannah was born in Ellsworth, Maine and lived the first months of her life on Little Cranberry Island, solidifying her island roots. Hannah was born in Ellsworth, Maine and lived the first months of her life on Little Cranberry Island, solidifying her island roots. Most of her childhood was spent in southern Maine where she discovered her love of home renovations as her parents loved to buy fixer uppers. Coming full circle back to Mount Desert Island in her teen years, Hannah graduated from Mount Desert Island High School and attended Southern Maine Community College for her freshman year of college. Still unsure what she wanted to do, Hannah opted to take a gap year to fulfill her dreams and love of traveling. She did a work exchange program on Maui, Hawaii and visited Ireland and Spain. After returning home, she went to Florida State University but ultimately graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2018 where she directly commissioned into the United States Air Force.

Hannah served as a nuclear missileer for four years. After 6 months of training in California, she was stationed at F.E. Warren, AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In her free time, she renovated a foreclosure and began to consider and pursue her dream to work in real estate.

With her lobster fisherman husband and extensive family on Mount Desert Island, it was an easy decision to separate as a Captain from the USAF and move back to the island. Despite her love of travel and moving (she moved 30 times before age 30!), she has always been drawn “home” to Mount Desert Island.

Hannah is an associate broker and part of ‘Coastal Living MDI Team’ with Jennifer Mitchell. Their assistant, Elena, (Hannah’s daughter) can often be found at showings, closings and meetings. Her bubbly and outgoing attitude is enough to brighten the most stressful day! ‘Coastal Living MDI Team’ works with anyone looking to enjoy the coastal living MDI life whether it be residential, commercial, year round, summer, or investments!

Hannah has invested in single family homes and commercial multifamily properties prior to becoming a real estate agent, so for her, working with Swan Agency Real Estate was the natural next step! In her free time, Hannah enjoys hiking with her daughter and three dogs, doing Crossfit, yoga, traveling the world, and investing in real estate.
