Kalah was raised in Pembroke, a small coastal town in Maine, and relocated to Portland in 2012 where she studied art & design. Kalah was raised in Pembroke, a small coastal town in Maine, and relocated to Portland in 2012 where she studied art & design. With a strong interest in interior design and architecture, she was quickly drawn to the real estate industry. She’s had various roles in both residential and commercial real estate as well as marketing and enjoys the creative aspect of the industry and finding the unique potential in every property. Having spent almost 10 years in Southern Maine and working in the busy Portland market, she and her husband Nick, now a local carpenter, returned closer to home to be near family Downeast. After a visit to Mount Desert Island, they were immediately drawn to the natural beauty of the area. Working out of the Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor offices, Kalah is an Associate Broker and Operations Manager for Swan Agency Real Estate and assists with various Swan Hospitality Group projects. 

Though Maine will always be her home, Kalah loves to travel, see new places and try new restaurants. Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors, hiking, camping, rock climbing and spending time with family and friends.
